STARTING THE YEAR - KNOW THE STUDENTS

It is important to build the right culture at the beginning of the year so as to create a strong foundation to build effective PBL experiences on. Collaboration is more than just putting children in groups.

ESCAPE ROOMS

Those of you who attended the January PD session which included this now know several examples of clues you can use for escape rooms.
You can have a go at making your own...work as a team with other teachers to lighten the load. You'll need to do this so the kids have experienced examples.
The magic, though, is in getting your students to make escape rooms - using problem solving and creativity skills to design increasingly complex experiences.
